SUMMARY:NHMBB 2026 Series A Bond Sale Update
DESCRIPTION:Our January bond sale was held on January 14\, 2026. The NH Municipal Bond Bank issued $39\,720\,00 in bonds to a pool of 7 communities to finance fire trucks\, water projects\, town hall renovations\, road reconstruction\, and various other capital projects.  The Bond Bank received 16 very close and competitive bids on these bonds from investors in the market and KeyBanc Capital Markets was the winning bidder.  The true interest rate on these loans are 2.33% on a 5-year loan\, 2.57% on a 10-year loan\, 3.07% on a 15-year loan and 3.43% on a 20-year loan.  If you are interested in reviewing the details of this bond issue\, you can find the Final Official Statement for the 2026 Series A bond issue under the investors tab. \nIf you have a bond warrant article that you plan to include this year\, we strongly suggest that you contact your bond counsel to be sure you are following all the necessary requirements and deadlines.  The NH Municipal Bond Bank’s next bond issue will be held on July 15\, 2026.  The NHMBB requires a completed bond application\, Bond Counsel opinion and 3 years of CPA audits.  If you would like to be included in this pooled bond issue\, please call the Bond Bank to request an application.  The application deadline is April 24\, 2026. \nPlanning a project for 2026 or beyond?  We can provide you with estimated payment schedules to assist you with planning your next project.  Please call us at (603) 271-2595 or e-mail jmcneil@nhmbb.com.  If you have any questions\, need additional information\, or would like to schedule a meeting you can contact me by phone at (603) 271-6639 or e-mail at tstgelais@nhmbb.com. \nHappy New Year and I wish you all the best in 2026! \nTammy J.
